If you're thinking about going to the US, there are a few reasons why you might want to. To get in, you'll need a Visa, which is an official document that lets you enter and stay in the US for a certain amount of time. The US has different types of Visas depending on the purpose and length of your stay. The US has a strict process for issuing Visas. Most of the Visas you'll need are non-immigrant Visas, which let you come to the US and stay for a set amount of time. If you want to get an Immigrant Visa, which lets you settle in the US permanently, the US only issues a limited number of those.

Different Types of Visas Offered by the USA

There are different types of US Visa offered to Indian citizens. They are mainly categorized as Immigrant Visa and Non-Immigrant Visa

The US B1 Visa or Business Visa

US B1 visas, also known as Business Visas, are non-immigrant visas that the US gives to people who want to enter the country temporarily for business purposes. These visas allow people to do things like go to conferences, negotiate contracts, talk to business people, and attend meetings or workshops.

The US F1/M1 Visa or Student Visa

If you're a foreigner looking to study in the US, you can apply for an F1 or M1 student visa. These are non-immigrant visas that the US gives to people who want to study for academic or vocational reasons. An F1 visa is for academic studies, while an M1 visa is for things like non-academic programs.

The US H-1 B Visa or Work Visa

Employers in the United States can temporarily hire foreign workers in specialized occupations thanks to the non-immigrant H-1B visa. One of the most popular work visas in the US is this one. To qualify for an H-1B visa, you must have a job offer from a U.S. employer in a specialty occupation.

The US B2 Visa or Tourist Visa

The B-2 visa, also referred to as the tourist visa, is a nonimmigrant visa that enables foreign nationals to enter the country for tourism, vacation, or to see family and friends for a short period of time. It is mostly intended for tourists who intend to travel for a brief time while in the United States. The B-2 visa is designed for quick trips for leisure, tourism, or visiting friends and family.
