Tips for a Perfect Visa Photo
Good Lighting
Use natural light or diffused indoor light. Avoid shadows on the face or background.
Camera Position
Hold the camera at eye level. Do not tilt the head β look straight into the lens.
Clothing
Wear normal clothing in contrast to the background. Avoid white tops against a white background.
Expression
Neutral expression with mouth closed. Some countries allow a slight natural smile.
No Glasses
Most countries now require photos without glasses. Remove them to be safe.
Print Correctly
Use a 10Γ15 cm (6Γ4 in) photo paper to fit 2 standard 35Γ45 mm photos side-by-side.
